Breathtaking views at Morro Bay! The scenery is absolutely stunning, with the iconic Morro Rock rising majestically from the water and the coastline stretching beautifully along the horizon. Walked the entire length of this beach north and south. Some of the best beach walking anywhere in the US. Spent sunrise and a sunset in the area, never got the clouds I wanted but still fantastic. Many shorebirds, Willets, Marbled Godwits, plovers, and brown pelicans and amazing reflections. That Rock!

This place is amazing magical. If you get the right, Camp spot you get one that hugs the edge of the beach and you can literally sit there and watch the waves come in. It’s super centrally located and the vibe is super laid-back.
