MainStay Suites in Moreno Valley has become my go-to hotel whenever I visit family in the area. As a mother of two daughters, finding a hotel that feels safe, clean, and comfortable is always a top priority, and this place consistently exceeds my expectations.
We always book the queen double room, which is perfect for our needs. Having two beds ensures everyone gets a good night’s sleep, and the room is always impeccably clean and spacious enough for my girls and me to feel at ease.
One of the best features of the room is the kitchenette. It’s such a lifesaver for a busy mom like me! It comes fully equipped with utensils, pots, and pans, making it so easy to prepare meals during our stay. Whether it’s cooking breakfast in the morning or making a quick dinner after a day of visiting family, I truly appreciate having this option. It saves us from eating out constantly, which can be both exhausting and expensive.
The front desk staff is always welcoming and attentive. They’re quick to assist with anything I need, whether it’s extra towels or a question about the area. Their friendly demeanor really helps set the tone for a relaxing stay.
While Moreno Valley may not be a big destination on its own, this hotel’s location is perfect for our needs. It’s conveniently located for visiting family after our 80-mile drive, and the peaceful environment makes it an excellent place to recharge.
MainStay Suites has become a trusted part of our trips. The thoughtful amenities, clean and comfortable rooms, and attentive service make it a wonderful choice for families. I’m already looking forward to our next stay!

My family has been displaced from our home and having been in a room here for about 2 weeks now. It is very quiet and very clean staff is always helpful , room service comes at a timely matter and does a really great job. Rooms are a nice size as well

I’ve been staying at the MainStay Suites in Moreno Valley for 2.5 weeks every month for a while now, and I can confidently say it has become my home away from home. The hotel’s consistent quality and welcoming atmosphere make it a standout option, even in a city like Moreno Valley, which doesn’t have a ton to offer.

One of the main reasons I keep coming back is the king superior suite, which is impressively spacious and well-designed. The room layout is perfect for longer stays like mine, with plenty of room to relax, work, and cook. The kitchenette is an absolute game-changer for me. It’s equipped with everything I need—stovetop, microwave, about a 5foot refrigerator. The kitchen island is a brilliant addition. It serves as a perfect spot for meals, extra prep space, or even as a workspace when needed.

The bed in the king suite is incredibly comfortable and the room itself adds a touch of coziness. Housekeeping always does a fantastic job keeping the space fresh and clean, which is a huge plus for extended stays.

Another thing that sets MainStay Suites apart is the front desk service. Jasmine and Meet have been consistently wonderful during my visits. They’re professional, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome. Whether it’s checking in smoothly after a long drive or accommodating special requests, they handle everything with genuine care and efficiency.

Though Moreno Valley itself might not be a prime destination, MainStay Suites makes it worthwhile. It’s conveniently located and serves as a great midway point for my travel needs. The peaceful atmosphere at the hotel is a nice escape after a long day, and the surrounding area is quiet, which adds to the comfort of the stay.

Overall, I can’t recommend MainStay Suites enough. If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-appointed place to stay with top-notch service, this is the spot. It’s clear the team here takes pride in their work, and that level of care really shines through in every aspect of the experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

My husband works 24 hours shifts an sometimes it's easier for us to stay at a hotel do to the fact traffic is so bad an hes exhausted from a back to back shift. Everytime we come in an book a room Jasmine is so sweet an helpful to us. She knows us an what we like an gets us checked in and checked out fast. Nice room but wish I could give it 0 stars. Staff is very rude, ignores you when you’re talking to them, says you can’t smoke OUTSIDE you have to be completely off their “premises” and any towel with a “stain” on it will be taken out of your deposit. By the way what are towels for? And how do you know if something is a stain without washing it first ? Never staying here again felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome the whole stay.

My room # was 305

I booked for 2($320 total)nights, didn't even stay, I checked in at 8pm and left around 11pm the same night walked to the front desk to complain about the room being dirty and wanting my refund since I wasn't going to stay at all!

Was given bullshit about Oh only the manager has authority to give me a partial refund. 🙄

I was shown 2 other rooms but unfortunately both those rooms had their problems too, the 2nd floor room jet tub had tape in the tub, yea don't ask my why there was tape in the jet tub so that was big no.

The next room shown to us on the first floor, upon entering there was a smell and unfortunately I don't have a name for this type of smell but I've smelt it before when I have stayed at cheap low level hotels like Days Inn. So again a big no

Again asked for a refund only to be told to come back tomorrow around 8am. Mind you I was getting married the next day and didn't have time to go argue with this hotel about wanting my refund for staying 3 hours in a unkept and unclean room, I WASN'T given the name of the manager, NOR her or his business card, NOR when the manager would be leaving that day. Asked for their email and the associate had trouble finding it 🤦‍♀️ like what kind of business are you running here?

Oh and to mention that the Internet was down as well. 😑

The 2nd TV in the bedroom wasn't working either, had the husband take crack at it too, turns out the previous guest had switched the HDMIs around so the cable wasnt working.

Shower looks pretty but unfortunately the water pressure sucks, and it's a waterfall showerhead.

We had a balcony and the seat cushion was dirty, stained and had hairs on it 🤮

Our refrigerator had dents all over the freezer door like someone stabbed it or punch it.

There were lots of stains, scuff marks, and dents all over the walls.

The laminate floor was dirty the proof was on the bottoms of my socks and the bottom of my feet! 😤

The furniture was cheap, paint was falling off.

The bathroom door had water damaged, at the bottom of the door you can see the wood swollen and bulged.

Behind the toilet the base boards hadn't been cleaned.

The bed sheets were rough and upon inspecting the bed I saw a hair

The jetted tub only had 2/5 settings work and had debris come out of the jets when I ran it. 🤦‍♀️

Upon further inspection of the room we noticed someone had hanged some stuff above the bed wall and so there was tape left behind on the wall and there was tape residue left on the bedroom TV screen. Told and showed this to the front desk but they didn't care.

This hotel website and photos comes across as a nice modern hotel with great amenities BUT I was fooled and regret booking my stay here and loosing my money.

I chose to stay here because the photos looked good and the hotel was just down the street where we live and the room came with a big jetted tub which was a surprise for my husband. 😒

I came to a hotel that has horrible housekeeping!

Room had a lot of wear and tear even though they just remodeled.

Customer service sucks, manager wanted to argue with my husband that they do clean here oh and that the floor was dirty cuz of the color of the laminate flooring 🥴
🤣 She couldn't even give my husband a confirmation paper that we were getting a partial refund instead she(Jasmine) kept saying you'll receive it in 7-10 business days 🙃

I'm telling you a shady hotel business they are running here 🤨

Go stay at the comfort inn instead next to Shakey's even though they are both under the same company 🤷‍♀️
