I have to say I was pleasantly surprised staying at this location. It was a last-minute decision and a necessity while I waited for escrow to close. Everybody provided amazing customer service from the time that I arrived to the time that I left. I did not expect to have a five star accommodation here, and I understood that it was in affordable option, But the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff made me feel like I was in a five star hotel. I have to say the young man in housekeeping with the braids and unfortunately, I forgot his name stands out as an exceptional part of why my stay was pleasant. He made sure Things were clean, and if anything was ever needed, He didn’t hesitate to offer assistance. It’s one of the few places I’ve stayed. They gave me no challenges regarding my service dog and they were more than kind with everything.

The only one thing that I could say might be improved or changed is the bed. Again, I recognize this is an affordable option so I don’t give any downgrade for it, but the fact that it is basically a spring cot frame with a queen mattress was not the most comfortable experience, and it moved across the hard floors far too easily when getting in and out of bed. I’m not sure if some type of grippy pad on the bottom of the legs would help but definitely a different style of set up would be improvement.

Huge shout out to the young man in housekeeping for making sure everything was as clean as it could possibly be. And a big thank you to everyone else that works there to make it a comfortable as it can be experience and for exceeding the expectations for the price paid

Me and my fiancée were looking for last minute hotel to stay overnight , so we can leave in the morning to travel to see family out of state in AZ. As we came into Extended Stay America In Redlands we were greeted with smiles and warm welcomes from The front desk Hotel Personnel Shay. Shay gave us great Customer Service, and made sure we had everything we needed in our room along with Dishes. Later, in the evening we had some issues with our tv not properly working. We were able to contact Front desk Personnel Kaylee who also provided us with great customer service in connecting us with the hotel technician. The issue was resolved. In bringing our review to a closing we like to thank DJ in house keeping and front desk personnel, Andre for great customer service also. You guys are all great and we appreciate your customer service! We will definitely be back again.

The room I stayed in was not cleaned before my stay. When I first walked into my room, it appeared to be clean. But it was not. So I took pictures to show how dirty my room was.

When I moved the yellow chair, I found a water bottle and vape pen underneath it that proved the floor had not been sweeped and mopped so that was not cleaned. When I used my wet wipes to wipe down the shelves between the clothes rack and the TV , they turned brown from dust and dirt. Especially the bottom two shelves so that was not cleaned. The bathroom toilet had someone's pubic hair on it so that was not cleaned. The kitchen drawers and bottom shelves had crumbs and some white powdery stuff on them so that was not cleaned. The top of the refrigerator had a layer of dust so that was not cleaned. Also, the refrigerator had not been cleaned in weeks because in one of the bottom drawers there was congealed milk that had been spilled. It takes at least a couple of weeks for that to happen.

And when I reported this to the front desk, I had to speak to four different people before housekeeping came to my room to actually clean my room. FOUR DIFFERENT PEOPLE. There was no accountability. Everyone kept telling me that I needed to speak to this person or that person. That was very frustrating to have to explain my room situation over and over again to four different people.

It was very DISAPPOINTING to have to clean my room BEFORE my stay and then not getting the help I needed from the front desk like I should have. After this experience, I know that I will not be staying here again.

This place isn't worth the money. I know, I've been here for three months. I only stay here because I make more money than they do from my per diem. The walls are thin. You can hear everyone around you, and unfortunately most of them are loud as can be. Try to get on the 4th Floor if you can. It's better to be heard than being woke up all night when someone upstairs moves.
There is a lot of barking dogs and the stairwell usually has dog urine all down them. The staff never checks your room, and forget about service. You're lucky if your room has all the towels it should. Good thing I paid for the expectation of housekeeping. No carpet, cheap LVT floors. Everyone knows you have to sweep hard floors every few days cause things track in and they get dusty.
The staff never checks your room. You could probably get away with a meth lab here. That's just bad business. If i owned the property, I'd want to inspect it at least once a month. Most hotels deep clean monthly.
You can tell by looking at the carpet in front of the doors to the rooms. They're practically black. Not from tracking in, but filth from long term stays tracking out. Especially the 1st floor.

Half the staff is nice and the other half are ignorant and don't even listen to what you're saying. They just repeat the same ignorance over and over.

The property is minimally maintained, but not horrible. It's a Woodspring Suites, rebranded to Extended stay. The finishes are cheap and the furniture is too. Mine is tore up by a cat or something. I just cover it with the bed spread.

The location is easy to get to off I10 and close to my project. So, with the money and the proximity to the job. It's serving my purpose.
However, if i were not here on business. I wouldn't stay here for pleasure. It's more like low income housing than a hotel. Most only stay here cause it's cheap compared to an actual apartment. Extended stay must be on some hard times to run things like this. I'm going to have to recommend to the national company I'm representing here that we negotiate rates with a different chain.

The room its self was ok. It was clean.
Did see a cockroach in the kitchen once.
A lot of weed smokers outside, everywhere smelled like pot. A lot of noise from the freeway. The queen bed was actually a double bed. They offered pretty good amenities but you had to go get them yourself. Then our keys would always stop working. Felt like a studio apartment not a hotel, which is good.
We were evacuated due to the line Fire in Running Springs. When we checked in, we told the front desk the situation and that we had no way of knowing when we could check out. We asked if we could pay 2 to 3 nights at a time considering the situation, everything was fine up until Friday. We were paid till Friday and told them if we couldn’t go home, we would be in to pay for another two or three nights, however. they ended up renting our room to someone else. When I went down to the lobby to pay for two more nights, the manager was very condescending and very rude. He knew our situation, but he did not care. He had no compassion and no empathy. He did not behave like a manager should. I wanted him to talk to my fiancé on the phone however he refused to and walked away, I followed him and asked him to please talk to my fiancé. His response was have him call the hotel. I asked him if my fiancé does call the Hotel will he talk to him then, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away again. As he was walking away, I told him that I’m not leaving that we never told them we were checking out Friday. He said if we’re not out by 11 o’clock, he was going to call the police on us and have us removed. I called my fiancé and told him the situation and he had to leave work to come and take care of it. Before he got there I called corporate office and told them the situation, by the time my fiancé got down to the hotel lobby to speak to the manager. The manager said to him that upper management said that we could stay but we needed to pay for three nights so that’s what we did, that manager who works in the mornings needs to be fired he could’ve handled the situation much more politely and compassionately, considering the circumstances. I also felt a little threatened by him because he was so angry and mean. I had an altercation with him a couple days earlier I had set the trash out in the hallway just for a few minutes to go and get my key so I could take the trash out. Just as I was getting ready to open the door to take it out he was knocking on the door and I open the door and he very angrily said you need to take this out, this manager obviously has anger issues and should not be in the hospitality industry.

Was on mandatory evacuation from a local wildfire and was unable to extend at the hotel I had been staying at for the previous four nights. On the morning of 09/14/2014, I was able to book here for that night. While waiting to check in, the evac order was lifted two days earlier than expected, and residents were allowed to return home at 2 p.m. on 09/14. I went to the front desk and explained to Andre what my situation was, that I no longer needed the room, and I wished to cancel. He explained it would not be a problem, he would reverse all charges, and I would not be charged anything, including any cancelation fee. I was surprised and extremely grateful. I expressed my heart-felt gratitude, as the last hotel took advantage of the situation (as did many others). However, upon reviewing my credit card statement, I was, in fact, charged for a full nights stay even though I was told I would not be charged. I am really appalled at all of these companies that take advantage of people who are victims of extreme circumstances. Very sad!

Responding to Hotel Management's response to my review:

There won't be a next stay because you lied to me, and took advantage of a person in a desperate situation. This is like charging a dehydrated person $5 for a cup of water. If your multi-million dollar company needs the extra $153 that badly, so be it, but shame on you and your company! Karma is all I have to say. Karma.
