Recently I experienced a flood in my home in Grass Valley, Ca. I was very fortunate to discover the lovely Pines Inn and Cottages. This is the silver lining in my personal nightmare. Me and my dog had to vacate our home while repairs are done. This lovely Inn is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in and definitely the most comfortable bed. Our rooms decor had a full refrigerator & gas stove in it's kitchen, quilts on the bed w/armoire, eating area, and a beautiful bathroom. I sat out on the porch looking out over the beautiful grounds w/koi pond. I highly recommend this establishment, I've lived in Nevada Co. for forty years and this quiet little Inn is definitely the nicest I've stayed in and pet friendly as well. I definitely will be going back.

What a wonderful find! The grounds were lovely, the cottage was perfect for the two of us and my dog. Bruiser had a great time in the doggie/games area. Breakfast was much more than expected, a bowl of yogurt (not a little Yoplait cup) with honey and blueberries, a bowl of granola with milk and bananas and a bowl of strawberries all delivered to our door! We ate out on the porch enjoying the morning. And then.... we were treated to a freshly made latte! I would return to Grass Valley just to stay here. I believe that there are eleven units. I would highly recommend The Pines as a fun family/friends reunion or get-together destination.

We stayed here while visiting my parents. This is the best place ever!!!|Clean, cozy and comfortable. Tony is the best!!! On our last day my parents came over|and Tony prepared a very nice breakfast for our family!!! We enjoyed the beautiful grounds. This will be our place to stay when visiting family in Grass Valley. We highly |recommend The pines Inn!!! Thank you Tony and your staff!!!

A wonderful gem right outside of town in Grass Valley. Gorgeous garden grounds with a koi pond, lots of lawn seating and gathering spots while you enjoy peaceful music. Tony greeted us upon checking with fresh sliced watermelon and some chilled wine. We loved our cozy room with a cute kitchenette and heavenly bed. The next morning, Tony delivered us a wonderful breakfast basket filled with bagels & cream cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, orange juice and a caramel latte right to our patio table outside our room. We felt very welcomed and pampered ❤️ We enjoyed the hanging baskets of flowers, misters to relieve the 100+ temperatures and quiet peaceful setting. It feels like a special bnb here and you won’t want to leave.

This is by far the 1st/2nd BEST motel I've been to in my years of traveling. Beautiful yard to play games and to hang out and have a drink. Owner is friendly and was dedicated to excellent customer service. Cute friendly cat that also hangs out here.

A cute town is also a 3 minute drive away making this a really good location to book your room. Next time I'm in town, I'll be here!

Only had time for one night here but we had a wonderful time. We really appreciated the breakfast in the morning having a nondairy option. Friendly folks and nice location, and love the cemetery across the street. We’ll be back!

Super cute place with a fun and nice host! He delivered us coffees in the morning along with a nice little fruit and yogurt breakfast. We'd definitely stay here again.
