From the very beginning, Chanel made the entire move-in process absolutely seamless—she was professional, attentive, and genuinely fabulous! Mike has also been fantastic, always ready to help with any questions or concerns.

The staff here is incredibly responsive and friendly, which really sets the tone for the community. On top of that, the apartment itself was in immaculate condition when I moved in—clean, modern, and exactly as described.

It’s clear that everyone here takes pride in making this a great place to live. I highly recommend Skylark Apartments to anyone looking for a beautiful home (with a gorgeous view of Mt. Tam?) and outstanding service!

SKYLARK Apartments is the best place to live in Marin County. It is like a slice of heaven here. The leasing staff is the BEST!! Channel is so friendly and kind, she is so nice to everyone and very helpful. Mike is so kind and makes sure everything is running great. And the maintenance people do the best job, Chris, Tim, Gio and Angel are the ones that keep the tenants happy with maintaining the units, always with a smile

From the moment we met her, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about every aspect of the property. Chanel took the time to address all of our questions and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the tour.

Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure we understood all the features and amenities of Skylark. Staff are great!... but
So much work keeping them on their stuff. So many little things missing when we moved in, and that's just the start.
The entire complex just got sold to a huge corporation a couple years ago and are they are NOW making necessary structural changes and updates. These updates are poor; making a cheap apartment seem like a great upgrade. "New" floors started peeling < 1 year after installation and utilities such as water, washer/dryer, and others are constantly being fixed or flat out broken. Lots of construction all the time. parking sucks, especially if you're having anyone other than yourself there.

Artistry Aesthetics

This has been the most disappointing place to live. I’ve rented several times in my life including New York City where I can honestly say, I received better acknowledgment and response to my concerns. Every time I’ve reached out to the office staff, I get “ghosted”. The worst was when my brother passed away on hospice and they refused to fix a broken elevator in time of his death and once he passed, I literally had to go to the office to demand the staff to help figure out a way to get his body out of the building. The second worst thing, was refusing to fix a block of residential mailboxes where none of us residents received our mail for over two and a half months! And, never mind all the massive construction and interruptions that management failed to mention would happen after signing my lease. Mind you,… I’ve only lived here for 6 months.

I've been researching short-term leases for my elderly parents and have spoken with at least 10 different apartment communities and visited six in person. Chanel at Skylark has BY FAR been the most helpful, communicative, and supportive apartment manager I've corresponded with; she is prompt, friendly, efficient - and she has not only really listened to my needs but has been proactive in helping me find the best place for my parents. Given how busy life is, it's been a HUGE help - and it really puts me at ease knowing that, if we end up finding an apartment there, my parents will be in a well-managed, safe community. I’ve visited twice for scheduled tours and the staff were not prepared. I had to wait for them to find matching apartments even after providing what I was looking for days ahead of time. The staff are professional during the tours but the initial welcome and first ten minutes of each visit are not great.
