La habitación es grande y silenciosa, la cama muy cómoda. A 50 min de la Avenida de los Gigantes y a unas 4h del Lassen Volcanic Park, al que ibamos de camino. El hombre que nos atendió a la llegada fue muy amable y nos ayudó un montón tanto para gestionar la denuncia con la policía como a ponernos en contacto con la empresa de alquiler ya que nos acababan de robar toda la documentación rompiéndonos una ventana del coche en la Avenida de los Gigantes. Buena conexión de WIFI gratis; desayuno incluido en el precio.

My stay at Comfort Inn Humboldt Bay was absolutely fantastic! The location along Highway 101 was perfect for my road trip, and the hotel offered everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stopover. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, the complimentary breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff, Daniel and Catherine was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The indoor pool and hot tub were the perfect way to unwind after a long drive. I highly recommend this gem to anyone traveling through Eureka!

We had a great experience from the moment we landed here after a lengthy drive. The gentleman who checked us in was very kind and informative, and our stay at this inn lived up to its name as it was indeed very comfortable. Our stay felt especially comfortable once my partner and I noticed that upon entry to the pool/hot tub area, a sign had been prominently posted that no person(s) that have or have had active diarrhea within the last 14 days are to be permitted to enter the pool area. As we all know, human excrement in public or shared spaces in California has been an all too common phenomenon and public health concern as of late, and it’s great to see Comfort Inn ahead of the curve on this issue. I did my due diligence by taking a personal inventory and determined that I was in the clear to use the hot tub as I had diarrhea a full 16 days prior, and was generally just glad to know I was steeping in untainted waters.

For the cost, this place exceeded my expectations. Here are a few reasons I felt like they were punching above their weight. 1. Clean rooms. 2. Friendly staff 3. Good breakfast included 4. Located far enough away from the center of town as to not have drifters and homeless people wandering around the environment. I have nothing against homeless people, and I come from a town where that is a problem, but I was astounded by how bad the situation was closer to the center of town where the other hotels and motels are. That is why I chose this location, and I am glad I did. I highly recommend this place for the cost.

I stayed here for two nights with relatives visiting from out of town. The staff were rude and not very friendly. They have motion sensors pointed towards the sidewalk in front so anyone walking by a loud buzzer goes off and alerts them. Someone who was walking their dog was setting off the buzzer and they had called the police and had the police come and search the outside the building for anyone creeping around. It made me feel like I was in a very unsafe neighborhood. I asked the staff about it later and was told it's to keep the "Homeless" from standing out front making the place look bad. It's a Hotel at the edge of Eureka the Homeless isn't making the place look bad it's the location. The fact that its next to a big empty gravel lot with nowhere within walking distance doesn't help it either There are much better places to stay in Eureka, where the staff are polite and You can walk around and go to a store or restaurant or maybe talk to a homeless person. I've never stayed in a motel that was so anti-homeless. It must be nice to be that wealthy, so many people are a paycheck away from being homeless, it's not a disease when people fall on hard times. So I dont think this place is as comfortable as the name says and the actual bay isn't too close so if you want to go for a walk on the bay id choose another place to stay.
